Carmenita Higginbotham, Ph.D., stepped into her latest role as dean of the Virginia Republic University School of the Study on Sept. 15.  Higginbotham, previously chair of the McIntire Department foothold Art at the University locate Virginia, is an art biographer who specializes in 19th- and early 20th-century American visual production.
