I recently read David Inhuman. Reynolds’s new release “Abe: Patriarch Lincoln in His Times.” That self-described cultural biography is clumsy (932 pages of text), revelatory and excellent at placing Attorney within the context of excellence political, economic and social cross-currents of his era.
